Her Heart Community's overarching objective is to raise awareness about the differences in heart disease for women versus men for 2 critical audiences: American women who are at risk for heart disease and the medical community.

For Healthcare Professionals, Her Heart Community's goals are to:

Raise awareness among referring physicians, nurses, and cardiologists

Support the development of a consensus on the appropriate management of heart disease in women

Articulate a vision of women's cardiac care that can be embraced and put into practice

Promote continued communication for meaningful long-term outcomes

Recognize the risk of heart disease in women so that they may identify their cardiac risk factors

Treat the problem by getting more women to talk with their doctors about heart disease
