From humble beginnings to a voice that's heard.

Her Heart Community (HHC) began nearly a decade ago as an educational initiative. The organization's initial goal was simple—to provide relevant, up-to-date information about women and heart disease. What began as an informational resource inspired a much-needed dialogue within the healthcare community—about the differences in the way heart disease should be treated in women versus men.

Today, with a growing membership of more than 3300, Her Heart Community is a nationally recognized organization that sponsors 2-day events in cities around the country, bringing a face and a live voice to a critically important cause. Leading cardiologists as well as other members of the healthcare community with a specific interest in female health issues—from OB/GYNs to general practitioners—come together with heart attack survivors and other patients to speak out about heart health issues.
