Creating a community for change.

Her Heart Community (HHC) is an educational initiative aimed at preventing heart disease in women by raising awareness. It began nearly a decade ago as a reaction to the eye-opening statistic that approximately 1 in 3 women in the US (38%) will die of heart disease.1

Today, with a growing membership that numbers in the thousands, we're still dedicated to raising awareness of this widespread problem. Through sponsored events, printed materials, and our online resources, we're educating women and physicians.

Her Heart Community:

Empowers women to identify their own risk factors and prevention strategies.

Communicates to physicians the latest statistics, treatment strategies, and news.

Encourages women and doctors to partner to prevent heart disease, improve overall heart health, and positively impact outcomes.

Fewer than 1 in 5 physicians were aware that more women than men die each year from cardiovascular disease (CVD).156

Only 55% of women are aware that CVD is the number one killer of women.157
