Chest X-ray

A chest x-ray is a picture of your heart and lungs. Chest x-rays show the size and shape of your heart, can detect signs of heart failure, and can find problems in your lungs and major blood vessels in your chest. This test exposes you to a very small amount of radiation, so tell your healthcare provider if you think you might be pregnant before taking this test.
